Week at the Pickens Mill Village': Last week was "Cleanup" week at the Pickens cotton mill village, and as a result the village is one of the cleanest and most attractive in the state .now. The mill offered prizes for the cleanest yard and a disinterested committee vis ited each house Saturday afternoon and selected. the prize-winners. Saturday vening a public meeting was held ind the prizes were awarded. At this mneeting general health rules were also iscussed. Following is the program of the evening: Prayer by Rev. L. E. Wiggins.
