Young, probably the oldest man in tbe city of Anderson and one of the best known men In t:>o county, died lost night at his homo ic this city. 230 Broyiea street. Mr. Young was 88 years of ago and bad been livtlng In Anderson for the last 25 years. He becamo ill last November and took to his bed and from that time lt was seen that he would never recover. He made a wonderful fight, but .his advanced years made it impossible for him to rally and be gradually grow weaker. Mr. Young was a native of Lown desvllle. in Abbeville county.
