DAMAGES. Section 2.-Auy person, firm or cor poration who shall violate the provis ions of Section 1 of this act, shall be liable to the ?aid County, for all dam ages done to any bridge therein. The uniforms decided upon hy the Anderson lodge of Elks to be worn by the local members of the order have arrived and were yesterday on display at Parker & Holt. The uniform for the lociil lodge will consist of a white hat with purple band, blue coats and white trousers, white shoes and pur ple socks and purple neckties. The Anderson lodge should he as tastily attired as any of the delegations and owing to the fact that the local lodge will exceed in numbers all other lodg es, the Anderson boys should make quite a show. ...... This ls in accordance with the rules adopted at tx recent meeting of the city democratic executive committee, at which time it was stated that the books woulu close on the 10th. Those voters failing to be enrolled In their respective pre cincts before yesterday will be de barred from voting. Hart nett, and Livingston are alleged to have' decoyed Sam Ritten burg, a member of thoCharleston del egation of the house of representatives to the Argyle hotel a few weeks ago I and there struck him several times, bruising him about the face considera bly.
