Decidedly the feature of the meeting was the address delivered by Dr. John C. Carman, general secretery of the Sooth Carolina Sunday School Asso ciation. Dr. Carman spoke on the subject "Tho Hiblc" and he gave his hearers a clear conception of what numerous passages conveyed. The speaker showed that it was a simple mutter to misconstrue many passages o? the scripture and elucidate on how a careful study would do much to pre vent such mistakes.
