James Hagood Amnbler, 'well and favorably known, not o;ly to the people of this and adjoining counties, but the State as well, and even be yond the confines of this State, died last S.turday morning, the 4th hinst., at the turn of the day, from an acute attack of grip, at the home of his daughter, Mis. Emma A. Gilroath, in Pickens. MAj. Amble.', had ho lived until the lith of Mairch, would have been ninety-one years of nv'.
