C., which were commenc ed about a year ago, are now run ning thirty-six carding machine and five thousand one hundre< and twenty-four spindles, employ ing seventy-five hands and con suming eleven thousand pounds o cotton per week. Within a radius of less than thir ty miles of High Point, N. C., say the Enteri.rise, there are- at leas thirteen cotton factories, two wool, en factor'es and fourteen mines all in full opperat ion.
