'ove SoIething Sweet to Tell 10u."
I have something sweet to tell you,
But the Secret you mu1iist keep-;
And remember if it isn't right,
I'm t-iking in mUliy sicep.
For I knov I am idreaming,
When I think your love is mine,
A nd I know they are but seeming,
All the hopes that round me shine.
So retemuber when I tell you,
WhaIgonger I cannot keep,
We are hone of us responsible,
For what we say in sleep.
My pretty secret's coming;
0, liten with your heart.
And you shall hear it humming,
So close, 'twill mke you start.
0. shut your eyes so earinest
Or nilne will wildly weep;
1 love you ! I adore you !
Bit ''m talking inl my sleep !'
For I know I am but dreaming,
Wheni I think your love ik miei;
And 1 know they are but seeming.
All the hopes that round ime shine.,

AN ALLEGED CURE BY PRAYER.
Tle Rev. Mr. Movety, Presiding
Elder of the Methodist Episcopal
Church for the Kingston District,
vouches for the fact that a woman
who lives in Gaianoque, anid who
was atllicted with a palsied arm,
was made whole through prayer.
Ile said all the plhysiciais in the
vicinity were called to effect a cure
or help the sufFerer, but their ef
forts towards these en(Is availed
nothing. As a last resort she de
c(ided to pray to God for help in
her affliction, believing firmly that
he would answer her j;' ayer. She
retired to lier room and prayed
hard for two hours, after which she
felt a tingling sensation in her hand,
which continue(l to spread until she
experienced it throughout her arm.
In answer to further prayer she
heard a voice telling her to make
an effort to raise her hand ; she
made the attempt and saw ihat sie
c(oUld lift it. In respoMnse to an1
other requnest she tried to raise her
arm, and to her surprise she could
do so with ease, touching- the back
of her head without experiencin.r
pain. From that (Iay to this thy
afilietion with w hicl l se had bee i
troubled has not re-a ppeared, and
her arm is as vell as ever it was.
