Dagnall has been roturned to the Pickens charge, nobody expected anything else, as his work last year was crowned with grnat results. The only fear was that other charges would try to get him and possibly did, but the bishop in his good judgment sent h im back to Pickens and euerybody rejoices. Sp, cial to The State. Chester Dec. 1.-The fourth day of tho conference session is now upon us, an, so far, all conditions have favored the work. Rev. Jno. 0. Willson conducted the morn ing devotional exercise. Rev. R. R. Dagnall, as is his annual cus tom, went out of his usual lines in making his report, and produced great amusement by a poetic ad dress. which was directed to the bishop, embodying the hopes of Mr. Dagnall's itinerant heart. The bishop frequently requests the brethren to speak louder. In a voice which would have filled an auditorium several times larger than this he asked: "Do you hear me Bishop? I wish you to know that I can fill a large church." His remarks were punctuated by out. bursts of laughter, making one of the most. pleasant incidents of the sesbioD. OLGA NEWS. Huff has been very sick for the past week, but we aze glad to state that she is better at this writing. The young people of this section) are loolting forward to Christmas with bright anticipations.
