Padgett, of Greonvillo, spent several (lays in town this week. -Miss Emily Harrison, of the Briggs section, is very sick with fever. -Lawyer McCollough, of Green ville, was in town ol business last week. -Mrs. S. A. S. Porter who has been quite ill for some time is still very sick. -C. C. Porter, of Tstmini,st.er, visited his son, Dr. F. S. Portbhr, -this week. -The Board Registration woreo in session Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. -City Attorney Morgan, of Greenville, was in Pickons on busi ness Monday. -J. M. Duckworth and C. E. Kay, of Briggs, is suffering very much with a felon on one of his fingers. -Prof Hick's school will speak at Cross Roads church on Satur day the 16th inst., at 9 o'clock a. m. -B. A.
