Tle United States Court of Appeal has disolved the injunctioi graiited by Judge Goflf in the registration case and dissinss ed the bill. The best lawyers of the State expected this result, but did not think it could be brought about before the time of holding the constitutional convention. While the State lias Jiust passed through its darkest period since its restoration from carpet-bag and negro rule, yet it will prove at blessing, if the people will pro. lit by the experience. This was a tim to try men's loyalty and pAtriotism, and it has certainly developed some unex pected acts and doings. The veil wa! thrown off and the false friends reven their wi3ked plans to anu unsspecting people. Now that they are known, thei should receive the execration of the peo ple Whom they have long deceived, am from whom they have received positiom of honor and enolument. That ther was an understanding between these mIe and the federal judge, no one who hias watched the progress of recent events will hardly doubt. But the state wis saved froi the distress threatened, and Its enemies have been located and should forfeit all respect and conlfidence.
