S. S CLAPS ENTERTAIN RD Mrs. McQueen Quattlebaum entertained a number of young people i?t her home on Friday evening in honov of Mr. Quattlebaum's Sunday School class. The guests were given nictures to match for partners as they were received by the hostess, and quite an enjovable tir?>e was spent r\ playing old fashioned games. Much interest was man*footed in an advertising contest. Eugenia Anderson, Ernestine little, Frances Dusenbury and Bayliss. Spivfeyicut for the prize and Bayliss ?pivcy was presented %frith a lov<tyP'ftV>x of candy tied in gTecn and yellow ribbon and decorated with jonquils. Gordon Dusenbury was awarded the nri/e, a whistle. A. Norton's surbtirfcAn home. The living room was beautiful in its profusion of yellow daffodils, and this was enhanced by the cheerfulness of the afternoon sun. Instead of the usual hand work, the guests, for an hour, enjoyed progressive hearts. Miss Alma Watson proved to he the most successful in playing the game of hearts, and was presented with a lovely box of correspondence cards. After the game, a delicious salad course was served.
