King, one of the rural policomen, made a whiskey raid on March3, capturing one moonshine still with 350 gallons of material and destroying four and one-half gallons of whiskey, together with nine empty barrels and kegs. When the policemen appeared onthe scene this still was being operated by Jesse Strickland, Lewis Tyler and W. J. Tyler. They ran. The two? Tvlers were caught following a chase, but Strickland got away and at Inst, accounts was not caught. ll?' is said to he a very swift runner and outran the policeman and those assisting him.
