MAGfsTRATF'SlnriRT HAS SEVERAL CASES In the Court of Magistrate W. U. Chestnut there are Warrants pending: against George Seners, S., L/. Jordan air' H. J. Cooper, all of R. F. D. No. 3, Conway, and all prosecuted by W. H. l.owriinore. They are all tlvreo charged on one date or. hiving hunted on land of the prosecutor without permission and on the following day they are charged with having carried concealed weapons. It is curious to note that all three of these parties were concerned in the trial of the case against George Sellers at the criminal court here early in 1920. George Sellers having been the defendant in that case while S. L. Jordan and H. J. Cooper were material witnesses in Seller's tie- 1 fense. These numerous warrants against these young men, all from one neighborhood, have been delayed from time ever since October 27th, when it is alleged that the tiespass was committed. There was to have been a trial ' on last Friday but it was again posponed at request of the defen- 1 drmts. Among- the list of witnesses for the defendants arc the following: L. B. nd J. L. Hyman, Robt. f Calhoun, Elsie Sellers, Belle Jordan 1 and Nettie Cooper. T It is also remembered that Geo. t Sellers has sued Mr. and Mrs. Low- * rimore in the Court of Common 1 Pleas for large damages for mali- * cious prosecution. This civil ease J is still pending. ><$><?><$><?><$><? <$><$><?><$><?><?><$><$> $><?><$> fgest Sail No\ TO CHOOSE BET ^ 1 i ? - Loth and see who is sad and > c?we have just as much of e> xxasionally be foolishly hope oin the happy band of custon COMING IN BY MAIL W GO A T AWAY FROM h : GIGANTIC SLAUGH1 RISTMAS SHOPPING I r BUT THE BARGAIN 3ur Christmas Suit, Coat and ' f. Chicago, 111.?More than 70,000 negro laborers of Chicago and vicinityhave agreed to accept a reduction in, wages rather than lose their jobs on account of reduced production, R. EL Parker, president of the American unity labor union, has announced. He said the union controlled more than 50,000 skilled and unskilled workers in the stock yards here, the steel mills at Gary, Ind., and in foundaries, factories and docks in and about Chicago. According to Mr. Parker, officials of the union have agreed on a ten per cent cut for skilled laborers and will submit the proposition to their employers.
