Nothing that has been done within the last forty years will do more for * the good of Conway than the completion of the National Highway, and work is now actually going on. Among the laborers found in any line of work, there is probably 110 difference in the amount of the wages paid to each; but there will be found a great variati n in the amount of work rendered by each, as to the re- suits produced. 1 o In the opinion of many wise men, it is absolutely necesssary now to en-j. force the prohibition laws since they! ^ are on the statute books. COLLINS FAMILY IN HAPPY REUNION There was a happy gathering at the Collins, home^tea^i on Elm street last Satu^fipy the sons and daughters } reunited >(,y{th their parentis. The joyous laughter , <of little children mingling witth the % merry voices of their elders attested to the general enthusiasm of the occasion. Brother*? and sisters gathered again at the old home; revering fond mem- | ories of childhood, where each had spent happy years. Their children were interested listeners to glowing tales of bygone days when they were boys and girls. Aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and cousins gathered around the festive table, while the eldest of the family, Mr. B. G. Collins, offered an impressive prayer ofbenediction and thanksgiving. It was a gay scene when all were partaking of the good things to eat, even Baby Cooper, the youngest of the family, asserted her rights by attaining a turkey bone. An appropriate toast was made by Col. D. A. Spivey, ending in a unanimous response while all joined hands around the table, every member of the family being present? with the exception of Mr. ThoSi K. Cooper.
