SEPT. 5. 1918 J ( There are some who work hard , every day trying to avoid work. ( o , When a man hates his job too bad { he will not do much at it although he , may almost starve. i -o t Some of us labor under the mis- \ taken idea that it is our business to advise others while performing: noth- ' ing at all ourselves. o Some years ago it was said that "cut-over" lands were not worth paying taxes on. Increased , i wages even in war mean increased ^ expense and still more work as a usual thing. The madness of the huns cannotiN yet equal the spite and ill will that sometimes is to be found existing in small communities. o Some men act in a way which j treales spite and ill will against hem; other know exactly how to g t on your good side ithout your know ing it. O" One fact which stands out plain a.i day about the tobacco market at Conway is that it is possible to build here one of the largest markets in the whole country. This season there was handhd at the Conway warehouses three and one half million pounds of the weed; and this was in the face of a condition which should not prevail?the warehouse owners did not seem to be organized and working together to bring to Conway as much of the tobacco as might have come. At other points even the outside business men are organized by means of a chamber of commerce or board of trade, and they j FEEL that I i * you the great perienced from using D sin.
