Isn't it about time one was taken? It look3 bad to see the farmers of any county or community buying Western corn, hay and bacon. The way to avoid the necossity of following this ruinous custom handed down from sire to son is for the farmers to raise their own supplies. They should have enough of these commodities for home consumption and some to sell. It appears that wo are livihg under a government by injunction and for injunction. This is a dangeours standard for[a!government of the people and by the people Beraise a corporation which is under the jurisdiction of the Uuited States court for the tune being, is rio reason why its'employees of should not;bt amoanable to the State courts when ever they violate a State law. We have not seen the full text o the prohibition bill as passed by the Senate. But our understanding ii that it provides for an election to be held in all the "wet" cDunties in the State 011 July 15 next, to determim the question of "wet" or "dry" If a majority vote of a county is it favor of prohibition, then whiskey is outlawed in that county, other wise whiskey will continue to b< sold under the present system. Tin counties that are now "dry" art not affected by the Act, consequently there wiil be no election held 01 that question in Horry county o? that date. ABSOLUTK PROHIBITION. Absoluto prohibition of the sale o whiskey, in both State and natioi is the only logical solution of th< whiskey problem.
