Mrs Hardee was a daughter of William Gcrrald and was born in Horry, near Loris, January 12th, 1843, Sho was married to (J B Hardee December 28, 1805, and lived in Horry until 1894, after wfcich they moved to Florida where they resided up to her death. The remains were laid to rest in the Milton cemetery at 2:80 p m., January 3rd. The funeral services were conducted by liev J A Abbott, pastor of the Baptist church at Wallace, the church of which she was a member at the time of her death. The deceased united with the Baptist church in the early part ol her life and remained a consistent member up to the time of her death. She will no doubt be greatly missed in both church and home circles. &he leaves a husband and three sons, one daughter, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, besides a number of other relatives and friends, to mourn their loss.
