it has been. If you want to invest
in land now is the time to do it before
it ooes higher.
Now that the Legislature is in
session everybody is wondering what
will be done with the dispensary,
and if ii should happen that then
is no legislation on the subject this
time, many people will be disao
pointed.
If the people luive, any petitions to
submit to our delegation in the
Legislature about needed legislation
now is the time to send them in while
it is time for the Representatives to
do something. Send them in late
and you will be disappointed.
The State Supreme Court has declared
the "Hrice Law" constitutional,
except that part which refers
to the school fund, which is rejected,
and "those counties which now have
dispensaries must share their school
fund with those counties which have
no dispensaries." The decision was
unanimous.

County during the past five years

allow the acreage to be increased
this year. Cut down the acreage to
the proper figures, then hold for tin;
price you want and you will be sure
to come out in the lead again. *
Insukance rates at Conway are
little short of robbery, but the companies
cannot be blamed when it is
consi3ered that the town has no
protection whatever against fire?
not even a stand pipe or a steel

equipped is needed as much as anything
in the way of improvements
just now, except good drainage and
strict sanitary regulations.

very much from rheumatism.
