On Friday night cf this week the people of this community will be entertaiucd at the Straw field school , house with the closing exercises, and every one is looking forward with much pleasure for this event. i<'or two seasons this school has , boon under the skillful management ( of Miss Maude Beaty, and her work has been so successful hero and elsewhere that it is imnossible during the year for her to accept and teach all of the schools offered her. She contemplates a short rest, and will spend the time with her sister Mrs, Jon S. Buck, after which she will resume her duties in the Murrell's Inlet Academy at Laurel, 8. 0.
