The Rev. Mr. Taylor, presiding

The contract for the erection of a
handsome dwelling for A. T. Collins
has been given to J. A. Garron who
commenced the work several days
ago. A. N. Cox is sinking an artesian
well on the property.

John Barrel and Bill Hardee, two
convicts serving sentences in the
county chain gang, succeeded in

with the Burroughs A Collins
Company, and has accepted the position
of bookkeeper with Spivev
Mercantile Company, in which he is
a large stockholder.
K. Van beat, the new superintendent
of education, who has just taken

until further notice, he will be in

only on Saturday of each

refreshments wore served. It was
"just fine", as all expressed it when
they left.
