Montgomry, and wns witnessed by quite a lumber of the leading citizens. In the Magistrates Court. A case concerning a horse, was ried before Magistrate Vaught and , jury last Friday, between W. E, 'orter, Plaintiff, and H. N. Sessions, Defondent, and created some nterest among those who happend to know the circumstances. The ase was commenced for the claim nd delivery of a horse, the plainiff giving the customary bond. The efendent, wishing to retain the orse until the termination of the nit, gave the usual bond in favor r the plaintiff, thereby undertaking o deliver the horse to the plaintiff, r pay its value, in case the suit hould be decided in favor of the ilaintiff. Before the trial last Friay, the horse hud died, and the de 3udent cculd not produce him alive. The jury rendered their verdict dr Ivor of the plaintiff. Prizes for Tobacco. Capt. J. E.
