C., liorry County. WATERING HORSES. The Proper Time for Doing it and the Rea sons Therefor The good horseman, says a writer, will water his horse before feeding him, especially in the morning. French breeders always water their horses before feeding and in all the large s'ables of horses in this country that practice is followed. Yet many horsemen and farmers never think of the advantage and necessity of it. If the horse could '.ail<, or if man could understand him, he would ask for a drink the lirst thing every morn ing, and you will he surprised howeager he is to get it, whether the weather is cold or not. The horse comes from work at night, gets a drink, then is fed neatly on dry grain, eats hay part of the night, and in the morning another dry feed, and by this time is very dry himself, so when he reaches wa-> tot he fills nis stomach so foil that undigested food is forced out of the stomach, and is a damage rather than a benefit to the horse.
