Tho advocates of prohibition arei
called, to meet hero ontko first Monday
in June, to doviso the best means,
under existing circumstances and to
elect delegates to a Prohibition Convention,
to meet now very soon at
Columbia. A short while since, when
%vo wore in daily fear of having a Dispensary,
many of our peoplo were
loud in their opposition of it and it
is but reasonable to expect that these
same friends will be hero on the day
mentioned and lend their presence
and influence to the advancement of
a just cause. Wise and diacreot men
are needed in times like these and we
trust that the utmost wisdom may
prevail.
