Haitimouk, Aj?ri 1 10.?The Archer Investigating Committee made a discovery to-day that, in addition to $133,000 of coupon bonds, which State Treasurer Archer disposed of for his own use, over $<50,000 of registered bonds are missing. The Committee this afternoon made its report to Gov. Jackson. A bill authorizing its construction across the Hudson River has been passed hy Congress, and it is to be completed within ten years. The reason why it was necessary for Congress to act in the matter was that the bridge is to connect two different States, New York and Now .Jersey. The exact situation of the proposed bridge has not yet been determined upon, but it will probably stretch from Iloboken to 14th Street. When finished it will be the largest bridge in the world. It will be suspended from four large cables, similar to the Kast Kiver bridge, each four feet in diameter.
