Died suddenly at his home on D.ir lingtnn street in this town on Sunday morning Inst about 2 o'clock, Mr. Joseph ll David, a well known plant er mid citizen of Marlboro-aged (id. He was a son of the late Jessie Duvid. a well known planter of ante bellum days, and noted for his many lovable traits of character-prominent arnon which wu s his unselfishness. lie was in every sense a public man, and Oiled several offices of trust, and was always willing to do his part in ?- V.rm?, 'r,.u.n ?tw? . ? He leaves a devoted wile, three daughters, three sons and a hoBt ol relatives to mourn his loss. _ He was laid to rest at Oak Ridge cemetery on Monday morning at lt) o'clock with Masonic honors, Revs ll.
