THE NEW YORK WORLD
Thrloo A Woek Edition.
The Most Widely Read Newspaper
in America.
Time has demonstrated that the Thrice
a-Week World stands alone in a class.
Other papers have imitated its form hut
no t its success. This ls because it tells
it impartially, whether that news be po.
litical or otherwise. It is in tact almost
a daily at the price of a weekly.
In addition to news, it publishes first,
class serial stories and other features
suited to the home and fireside.
The Thrice a Week World's regular
subscription price is only $1.co per year
and this pays for 156 papers. Wc otter
this unequalled newspaper and the Dem
ocrat together one year for $1.67.

The February Number;
The principal features of the NEW
IDEA WOMANS MAOAZIKE for Febru
ary are aa always, utilitarian, and in
patterns, descriptions of coatume,
faucy work, and domestic nfTairs there
is nothing more helpful to the home
maker now published; but the literary
features are equally as valuable. The
stories are charmingly told and well
illustrated. Mrs. III. A. Osborne's
paper upon Lincoln, entitled "A Na
tion'a Patron Saiut," is especially ap
propriate, and Ernest Neal Lyon's
poem on Washington emphasizes the
patriotic element of the contents.
Mrs. Wilson Woodrow's article upon
Mrs. Fiske as "Mary of Magdala"
continues the series upon the promi
