After a long and well spent life,

It <?? this thought alone that,
assuages the anguish we ex

?Thus was a noble life cut off,
?Thus au example of a life of

Thus are the poor bereft of a

Thus is City, Couuty, State made

Thus is the heart of the orphan

rests in that house, not made

We sorrow with the nfflicted
for we also are nfflicted, but our
?ense of sorrow in our great loss
is lightened by a linn and abid

having passed, we will behold

The funeral services were con.

the remains followed to their last
