The 'State Demooratic Con vention, I) eld on Wednesday, the 2Qth' insfc., was harmonious iu 'every detail! Just June. There's a moon not too obtrusive, Sort of misty and delusi ve, Frequently nml opportunely hidden, beneath the clouds; And n infidel), sweet Mid partly, Not too solemn or too witty, Down ? country lane a-walkiug, free from madding, gadding crowds, With a youth, in love nplenty, Probably some flve-nnd-t wenty ; And ft heart that's lilting "Sweet, of, 1 love you!" like n tune.
