On Tuesday evening, the 14th inst., our newly elected city council was formally installed in office. It consists of F. M. Zemp, Mayor, and Messrs. H. T. Gladuen, A. J. Beattic, S. F. Brasington, J. J. Workman, W. E. Johnson and E. C. vonTresc lcow, Aldermen.* The per&onelof the new coun cil is strong, and is representa tive of practical! v every interest * in the city.
