The lawyers engaged in the 6uils were none of them ready. Absent witnesses, who shbuld have been here, arid a lot bf other fol do rol necessitated a postponement. The Judge ap ]tea*-ed to tiave that tired feeling, and adjourned court for the day. fee,at the same time sharply ad tnonished the lawyers that if they ' fold no business for the court on the following morning, he would adjourn it 6ine dib. They had business, and plodded through two cases from Tuesday morning ?antill Thursday evening when the court was flualfy adjourned al though there was two more work-, ing days of the week.
