LEVER RETURNS HOME IS ENTHUSIASTIC OVER PLAN FOR WATER ROUTE BETWEEN ORANGEBURG AND CHARLESTON Congressman Lever, of the 7th Congressional district, who came to Charleston Sunday with Capt. E. M. Adams, chief of the engineering corps of the United States Government, returned to Orangeburg yest-rday morning. Congressman Lever and Capt. Adams came down the Edisto River in a boat. Mr. Lever is very enthusiastic over the proposition of a water route from Orangebuig to Charleston via the Edisty River, and he is going to do ev rything he can to further the plan. Capt. Adams went to Orangeburg Friday to attend a smoker given by the business men of that cit)? to which he was the specially invited guest.
