FRIDAY, Oct. 9. 1508. THE LABOR QUESTION SOLVTD There will be on exhibit at the Tri-County Fair a mother with fiv< babies all born within fifteen month time. Please fremember that you ar wanted to visit the Advocate offic and make it your headquarters du ring the Tri-County Fair. We hope that our constituent will take time to read Presiden Finley's letter on "Good Roads." 1 is a source of valuable and practics information and should interest ever man, woman and child in the south Pandering to the demands an< conditions of an unlawful elemen by the makers and executors of lav is an evil that^strikes at the very lit< center of our government. A>;. least, to the open and unpunishe< criminal organizations on Wall stree Since E. D. Smith turned his al tention toward the U. S. Senate w do not hear anymore of the Cotto Grower's Association, but we ar glad to note that the Farmer's Un ion, a better organization, is beinf pushed and is gaining favor througt out the country. We are in heart} sympathy with this movement and we like the secret and restricted features of the organization. It is o lr opinion that through such an organization the matter of production and price can be successfully controlled. We would advise the farmers in all sections to seek membership in this Union. Next week is the time for our Tri-County Fair and we wish to call the people's attention to the fact that they can and it is their duty to help make the Fair a success. One of the prime objects of the Fair is - to enhance and encourage education along industrial lines and this is done through the exhibits, The greater the number and variety of exhibits the more we learn, therefore we urge every one that can to send or bring something for this department. The local management have al-1 ready made full arrangements for a variety of attractive amusement. There will be a "Midway" on the grounds for the fun lovers'and a good < brass band to keep the crowd inspired. In addition to the above this wiH be a great social occasion a reunion of old friends and the making of new ones.
