It was our good pleasure to take in the Lexington County Fair last week. As a Lexingloniati, it lllle-l my heart with honest pride to see what interest is manifested by the people of the . County both in a'tendance upon the occassion and in the variety and magnificence of field and garden products exhibited Equally to be admired and praise ! were the exhibits in the Household Depailment and in the ' artistic handwork of the ladies. ' These exhibits are an index to prog- 1 ress, pride and intelligence of Lexing- ( ton citizenship. We must not fail to mention the in lei est of the Cotton Mill in the Fair as shown by the samples of their products. The exhibits of stock?horses, mules, colts, cattle ' and hogs were splendid also. Too ' much praise cannot attach to Col. * Counts and those acting with him for 1 the intellegent and successful manage- J inent of the County Fair.
