Real Estate Dealer Highly Praises Tanlacj Had Sought Return of Health Through Florida's Climate Told of New Remedy ______ : ? - r nr i Found iouriest Were laKmg Tanlac and He Too Was Greatly Helped ^Robert D. Page, the widely known jeal estate operator, of Port Dickinson, N. Y., though 69 years of age, ft*# made an auto trip from Florida to New York. And there is a mighty interesting story to the trip, and great gratificaton to Mr. .Page, as gris well man told it "Because of my suffering with stomach trouble and catarrh for many years I have been going to St. Petersburg, Fla., each year in search of relief from this northern climate, he explained. "But, though I paid out rather large amounts for treatments and medicine, I got scarcely any good results. "This year I went to Florida as usual, and in St. Petersburg I found the usual number of people suffering as I did from the weakened, run down condition that stomach ajiments and catarrh bring. "They were taking a new medicine, Tanla% and the way they were talking about it made me have fatih In it at once. They told me what i Tanlac was doing for them, so, of course, I started it. "I took three bottles and I felt so *rell I drove all the way from Florida to New York in my machine, and all the long trip I felt no pain or distress. Now I get up in the morning feeling fine and fresh after a good night's sleep.I eat good, hearty meals and eat anything I want without suffering." Tanlac, the master medicine, is gold exclusively at Harmon Drug Co., Lexington; Burnette and Whetsell, New Brookland; Harris-Cain Drug Co,, Batesburg; Crosson Drug Co., Leesville; Eargle's Drug Store, Cha pin; Dr. W. COMMUNITY FAIRS TEACH CONSERVATION. County home demonstration as:-1 ent are making it possible for manyj community fairs to serve as real con-! aervation schools for the women who| attend them. In some cases special! buildings have been provided for Wo- j men's work, which not only house th I { exhibits prepared by the women in the community but afford places where modern household equipment and abor savers are shown and where dmonstrations are given. At many of these local fairs the agent arranged for demonstrations in canning and drying, in making bread, cheese butter ad soap, in dressmaking, in laundrying, and in fuel saving. RED CROSS WORKERS BUSY THESE DAYS. The Lexington County Chapter of th Red Cross is a very busy body these days. The women are working like tropans in an effort to com. j plete the allotments assigned to them for the month of August. When it comes to performing patriotic duties, these good women of Lexington I ar always in the lead. HEAVY LEXINGTON COUNTY ENROLLMENT Theer are five thousand, and twen ty-four voters enrolled in Lexington County, according to the enrollment books rcently filed with Countv Chairman C. M. Efird. Of this number there are 294 soldiers enrolled. These figures are an increase of about 100 over the enrollment of twc years. The people evidently are interested in the political situation as never: and a large vote is expected on August 27. Mr. T. H. Rawl is in Charleston im attendance upon the United States court as a witness. _ I Ifi^M ER GOLDS ? rapidly'reduce human strength f and illness is easily contracted, but Scott's Emulsion will promptly relieve the cold and fa * npbnild your strength, to |S^WflV prevent sickness. k - Scott a bowns | f! r bloomfield. n. j. i BEST n I rrv i nPti ! \m^sL >; \m^i baUo< \i h I! ^MLW I broth 1 1766' J G I %!%A ? sS cm U2w i>*+&? i\,l&* i&a^ a wiir a 3j3?<4 Mfl?? *tc-??l At the 1 of a ma Just like a gas stoveyou get instant heat of cooking?with a I The gas stove efficit 3,000,000 into Amer A New Perfection lighl soot It lightens fuel fc work in.
