M. Toomer, a friend of ours. It
seems as if it were yesterday

County. I was serving the Gran|
ger Baptist Church at Ellovee,
and he was serving a church in
the upper part of Orangeburg
County. It was at that church I
1 conducted my second Revival
\ meeting. At that time I was the
circulating manager of the Peoples
Informer before it was merged
witth the Lighthfoutw?... We
have remained friends through
the years.

was the first person that carried
me to Morris College as a stu- ,
dent.I think I still owe him for
