' v * We learned that "Slim" was unable to complete his high school studies but is making the most of the piafio I lessons taught him by Mrs. V. C. Reynolds. He has organised a small band which he calls th e"Boogie Four," which ft has played quite a few engagements. "Slim" is tall, dark ft and not hard on the eyes. ft Now don't let Dr. Jive's voice fool you. He is not fat I and bald, as I have heard a lot of people express themselves I as they thought he looked.
