We consider QUALITY, not QUANTIFY, and then satisfactory service to our customers. FINN JEWELRY STORE INCORPORA TED In the opinion of W. W. Long. State demonstration agent, the boll weevil will appear in the Piedmont section of South Carolina within a year, striking Anderson county first. Ale is quoted As follows in the An. derson Daily Mail: "Anderson county will be the first county in South Carolina in which the boll weevil will appear,” de clared Dr. W. W. Long, state dem onstration agent, who was a visitof from Clemson College today. ‘‘I have hern studying the boll weevil map. and the people of this state will be amaced on learning that *ho weevil is so near us. It is across, just five counties of Georgia, and if the wee vil travels as fast this year as it did last year we will have the boll wee vil <flth us next year. '•‘Until I began studying the boll weevil map I was under the impres sion that Barnwell county or some other county in that secion of the state was the nearest county to the weevil infected district o' Georgia, and I. along with many others, though* that the invasion would be gin on Barnwell county or one of the counties in that neighlmrhood. But. contrary to our expectations. Anderson county is nearer to the In fected district than any other county in the state, and this means that the first invasion of the weevil will he through the Piedmont section, and not through the lawer part of the state. DEAFNESS CANNOT BE CTRKD by local applications, as they cannot icacto the diseased portion of the ear. There is only one way tp cure deaf ness, ; nd that is by constitutional remedies. Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of thp mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube. When this tul>e is inflamed you have a rumbling sound or imperfect hear ing. and when it is entirely"hlo8ed. Deafness is the result, and unless the inflammation can he taken out and this tube restored to its normal con dition. hearing will be destroyed forever: nine cases out of ten are caused by Catarrh, which is nothing but an inflamed condition of the mucous surfaces We will give One Hundred Dollars for any case of Deafness- (caused by catarrh) that ovtinot be cured by Hall’s Catarrh Cure. Mrs. Cleve. land's indorsement of Tanlac and her statement regarding the case of her daughter follows: “My daughter. Mis, Madge Cleve land. suffered from a number of ail ments, and her system was badly run down and weakened. She had no* appetite at all, and would eat scarceK mor,. than one biscuit for breakfast. She had twice been op erated o.i for tumor and appendicitis.- The first operation was not success ful, and th,. second was necessary. As a nsult. her health was under mined and her condition became very had. “She was so weak she cofild. hard ly walk, and she was so restless at night that she really was very little refr.-died when morning came. She would wake us at night many times with h. i groaning. She lost a great deal of weight, too. Sh'' has i very good appetite and it is steadilv improving. Really I have told liei if sl\e continues to increase the amount of food sh,. eats I will have to make her stop taking Tan. lac. And what she eats is nourish ing her. “Her health 'has improved in ev ery way and -di* is very mm h ‘Oronu- er. She goes to sleep now just as soon as sh. gets to bed, and she •deeps aoundly all night. Her nerves are quiet and strong now, though they troubled Iter a lot before she began to take Tanlac. Sh,> 'used to have bad spells of headache; too, but Tanlac broke them up and she has not had an atta< k since site be gan taking it. Just before she.began taking Tan lac. she decided to go on a visit to Pell City. Ala., but was told sht could not stand the trip. But she left for that city just two (lays ago in fine health, so great was the ben efit three bottles of Tanlac gave her. “Tanlac is Just a wonderful medi cine, and we can’t say too much in praise of it. and I certainly am glad to recommend it.
