unrest in these outlying sections was

We have examined the jail and
find the same to he in a very bad
condition, indeed. We find that the
walls should he white washed or
calsmined and that the building
needs scouring amla/great deal of
work along this/ line to put if in
sanitary conditi/m. We find th"

lation very poor and we urge that
this building be given a thorough
renovation even if it has to he done
by the inmates. Our former rec
ommendation in regard to this
state of affairs was overlooked and
we specially urge and recommend
that this recommendation lie given
at once the attention thaj it de
serves.
We find that the road leading
from Bells to Lodge, near Mr, (?nld-

dition and as the same can be re
paired at a small cost we recommend
that the same he attended to at once
