The Press and Standard is of Me opinion that there are too many de nominational colleges. One male end one female college for each denomi nation is not too many, hut w c*i the denominations undertake to sup- - Port * greater number, tt can be done only at a los^and the effort will be. doomed sooner or later to failure, besides crippling the one college of the denothination which could suc ceed.
