This was done Monday, and Mr, Ader- holt was at the tame time released from the work of erecting the build ing and placing the machinery. It was feared that to have both con tracts woOld hamper him and that he might not bo able to comlpete them In time. This tank will be of concrete, and will hold 100.006 gallons of water. It will stand on a tower 10* feet high, and will’thus give a magnifi cent water pressure for every point in the city. Water will’ be forced into this tank, which will be locat ed at some point in the city, not yet definitel decided, by means of i numping station at the well fjte. As a result all of the laws are being rigidly en forced and the violation of the dis pensary laws Is a thing of the past. Sheriff Ackerman was appointed last year to sutceed Sheriff Owens, sad he has proved himself a worthy •aeeessor of his efficient predeees- deputy is Lucks (V Padgett. « two are work.ng bar-' moniously together with the result that great efficiency exists in this office.
