Her death was''not unexpected cs she had been an xuvnlid for three years, at the same time coming as a distinct loss to her many relatives and friends. Mrs. Stokes sms formerly Miss Sarah Appleby and wan twice mar ried. first to Richard Risher, of which union two eftutdifeu survive, J. R. Risher of Smoaks And R. F. Risher of Branchvllle. She was again married to J. A. Stokee. and one daughter, Mrs. J. E. Byrd of Branchvllle survives her. She is al so -survived by nineteen grandchild ren, of whom James F. Risher is one! ' „ .
