Bethea, of BranchvBle, lost a very fine mule on Sunday after noon, the animal being struck by lightiling. He sta ted that as far as he could learn the health of Walterboro is at present none below‘normal and he hopes that none will be so thoughtless as to circulate such reports unless it be true. Dr. EsDorn stated that he did not think there could be such circum stances as is being brought to the attention of the board of health, as the law provides that'-all such cases be reported to the chairman of the board of health by the attending physician and he had received no such notice.
