An arrest warrant and a search
warrant wa-s sworn out on Monday.
Dec. 18. and was served by Chief
Ackerman and, Mr. Hauck. They
found a valise coHalning five pints
and in r-n out house in the yard
a large number of empty Jugs and
bottles, rrd in cne of the bed
rooms, five or six bottles were
found between the beds ard under
the pillows. These were all seized
and were brought Into court and
offered in evidence.
The defense attempted to show

sold at Mr. Byron's store at Irot-'s
