Several districts are engaged In putting up more comfortable school houses, which action be tokens a livelier interest in educa tional matters. The- provision of law which enables the county and State to aid school districts in erect ing school houses in commendable, and places it within reach of many schools to have a new buildiqg. It is generally known that for every |100 reJsed by a school district, up to $600, the county will give ISO and the State |50.
