We have a very good school here and are very much pleased with our teacher. Miss Eloine Lord of Charleston. Mr. Shalken and family of Charleston have moved in our town recently. Herbert Faribee and Mias Mar garet Gilmore were married a short time ago, and are making their home nere at present C. F. Butler and family expect to leave soon for Hot Springy Arkansas, where Mr. Butler will be treated. We hope for him a speedy recovery. Charles Galen and family of Jacksonboro have moved to Have- nel today, and will occupy the home Itelonging to Mr. Cope. The health of our little town at present seems to be very good. Mrs. T. O. On Sunday I had the pleasure of_ attending the marriage of Miss Harriet Hill to Mr John Hinnant The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs J N Hill of this place. The marriage took place at their winter home. White House. The bride was very prettily attired in a dress of white mull, which was very becoming.
