N. Barrow of Clemaon College will con duct a Fanner’s Institute for Colie- ton County January 6 at Lodge and 7th and Kth at Walterboro. it is deemed wise to change the date of the next Countv Union meeting from Saturday, January 1 to Satur day. January 8. in order that the Union may attend the Institute. At the conclusion of the Institute an executive session of the Union will be. held. SECRETARY’S NOTICE- Those locals not yet having sent in report for the first quarter, 1910, will plsaae do so at once if possible. Also pleaae take notice that the National dues have been increased from 2 to 4 cents per quarter. This applies to the last quarter, 1909* Secretaries will, therefore, please take notice and see that their proper dues are sent in. Professor Barrow having ex* pressed a wish that the Institute meetings be held, if possible, at different places in the county- President Padgett has arranged for the first day Thursday, January 6. to be at Lodge under the auspices of the Lodge local. The other two days, Friday and Saturday. January 7 and 8, will be at Walterboro. We had a very good attendance and every one appeared to take a great deal of in- torest in the union work.- The * brethren all came together and or dered a bill of groceries.
