Each Sunday School in the county should arrange to send two'delegates, and clothe same with authority to act for the Sunday School on all questions coming before the convention. All officers of Township Sunday School Associations in the county should attend the convention, and they and the officers of the County Association will be recognized as official delegates. All official and regularly elected delegates will be enter tained by the Christian people of the town of Walterboro, and each one who expects to attend should write at once to JAS. E. Olar, Jun, 18 Special:—On June 7th about nine o’clock in the morning Miss Minnie Folk went down to a spring about two hundred yards from the house, carrying along with her a pistol, concealed, and shot herself just above the heart. Her intentions were to kill herself instantly, but she lived for three hours' after being shot. A doctor was called but was unable to do anything at all for her. No one knows this young lady’s reasons for her crime. Miss Minnie was jusi sixteen years old. and a very pretty and noble girl, she was loved by all who knew her. Her last words were, “nobody cares for me.” She leaves a heartbroken father, two brothers and one sister to mourn her loss. Mr and Mrs J F Bessinger spent Saturday night and Sun- iday very pleasently at the home of Mr -and Mrs J L Angley near Ulmer. Mr and Mrs Tilman Mur*, daugh paid relatives and triends a very pleasant visit to Ulmer Sunday. Mrs J F Bessinger left Mon day afternoon for a short visit to her father at Fairfax. Airs Mike Labas will leave in about two weeks for her home in Pennsylvania, where she will spend the summfer. J R Baker, Ed Hollands and Samuel Maison paid Olar a dying visit Sunday.
