The following C’lass Prophecy of
the Walterboro Graded School was
written by Mies Sal lie Hut! man for
the closing exercises. This paper
was enjoyed by everyone who heard
Mict Huffman' read it. The clever
wit contained kept the uudieucel augh-
ing^/ It was one of the cleverest pa
pers read at the commencement.
To lift the curtain that shrouds
the future is generally conceded to be
an impossible achievement. How-

lighted to hear a familiar greeting.
It was a real joy to meet my dear old
friend Florrie Howell; and to learn
that her vouthful talents had been

On this same visit to Walterboro I
was making the rounds of the old
streets to see how many fences the
Civic league had taken; down, when
my attention was called to a large
number oi little children playing in
a yard. Fiual'y I noticed the one
who seemed to be the teacher. She

recognized Vivian Price. She told
uie she was teaching a Kindergarten,
1 was surprised ior 1 had never
thought of Vivian as an old maid
