Thii first number of the South CaroliLi Pythian has been received by the members of the local lodge, Knighta oTVythias. It is a neat 18 page, three column paper, devoted to giving news and views of Pythian- ism. It is edited by Col. E. H. Aull, editor of the Newberry Herald and News and president of the State Frees Association. He is an able editor and a devoted Pythian. The mechanical work is done by The State Company. The journal is neat in appearance and full of interesting reading for members of the order. It should and will succeed. ‘PUBLIC SENTIMENT OR OPINION.” This is the subject of an addrem delivered at the public meeting here Tuesday evening. Sept. 17, the occa sion being the opening of the Dis trict Convention Knights of Pythias. Thespesker was Jno.M9.
