We had quite a refreshing rain yesterday afternoon, which wat very much needed. William and Henry Trowell ot Tampa, Fla spent a few days last week, with their parents Mr and Mrs W J Trowell. They returned to Tampa Monday. Mr and Mrs W II Carter and two children Estelle and Hal, from Plant City, Fla are visity thelatters parents Mr and Mrs W J Trowell. Mrs David Ramsey and family, spent a pleasant day at Brown Town last Sunday with her two daughters, Mrs Strickland and Miss Kate of Savannah. Mrs M Sauls of Masbawville spent last week at home, with her father N J Trowell. Miss Emily Halford of F 1 a, has been visiting relatives in this section Miss Kmily is a charming young lady, and we hope to have her with' us again m her near future. Miss Leila Trowel, who has been trimming lor U Bloom's Millinery department in Harrisonburg, Va is home on her mi miner vacation, her sister Mi^a Lizz e, wko has been trimming for FivUman and Kolm in Roanoke, Ya for the past two sea sons is expected home the Istol’ Aug Miss Lizzie will only have two weeks at home, when she will return to j * • resume her same position lor the fall season.
